A native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Rebecca achieved her Degree in Creative Writing from
Carnegie Mellon University. In Los Angeles, she began her career in the music business, eventually landing at an independent film studio. In April of 2006 she published her first piece for Atria Books, a division of Simon & Schuster, and began her travel across country to compile a collection of stories inspired by the sound, smell, and people of our deep, diverse country.

A native of Zürich, Switzerland, Nico Ammann attended Art Center College of Design, and has
served as Art Director for both large and boutique advertising agencies. He has worked on national and international award-winning advertising campaigns for clients like Target, Reebok, Resfest, UBS, Nissan, Etnies Footwear, Shark Energy Drink, and the United Nations. His photography and artwork has published in The Book LA, Beautiful/Decay, 944 Magazine, and Lürzer’s International Archive.
